Process using heat- steam or immersion in hot water - and a pressured resist along with natural fiber and plant material. always a one of a kind piece.

The chaos and beauty of nature! Natural fiber is mordanted and covered with dye/plant/flower material. Fabric is then rolled, or folded and added to the steamer pot (heat extraction) or in certain cases added to an ice dye bath for different results.

The most important step! Some should argue that this is the stage where the real "magic" happens. Without this integral step, any other process used would not adhere to the fiber. This process of pre-treatment is called "mordanting".
